Brig. Gen. Robert (Bob) Felderman

Serving as the United States Deputy and principal advisor to the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and U. S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) Director of Plans, Policy and Strategy Directorate (J5), focused on mission to anticipate, deter, prevent and defeat threats and aggression aimed at the United States, its territories and interests within the assigned NORAD Area of Operations and USNORTHCOM Area of Responsibility. Responsible to the Geographical Combatant Commander with focus on deliberate plans, policy and strategy for the safeguarding of the North American Continent (United States, Canada, and Mexico) via assigned missions of Aerospace Warning, Aerospace Control, Maritime Warning and additionally, programming the development, employment and sustainment of assigned Canadian and U.S. Forces at NORAD operating locations and bases; and in developing USNORTHCOM strategy, policy, contingency and deliberate plans, and Security Cooperation for Canada and Mexico with primary missions of Homeland Defense and Civil Support (Defense Support of Civil Authorities - DSCA).
