Power-house Country Music Artist Brittini Black Delivered a Soulful Rendition of the National Anthem at the 7th Annual American Freedom Festival in Washington DC!
As an ambassador for America's Adopt a Soldier®, Brittini Black belted out a powerful heart-felt National Anthem following the presentation of the flag by the Maryland Youth Challenge Cadet's during the American Freedom Festival on Oct 9th 2010.
The event was held at the Patriot Center at George Mason University and welcomed the "Rowdy Friends Tour" featuring Hank Williams Jr., Jamey Johnson, Colt Ford and Josh Thompson!
The festival pays tribute to the men and woman of America's armed forces and raises money for various organizations that support our veterans, active duty military, wounded warriors and their families.
On Sunday following the festival, Brittini visited the Walter Reed Army Medical Center on behalf of America's Adopt a Soldier® and sang for many of the "Wounded Warriors" there. "It is a complete joy to meet them and hear their brave stories" Brittini says."I want to serve them, for serving us!"
